Projects

This is a budding directory of some of the various things I’ve built or contributed to.

Software

  • LakawaPhotos A SIMPLE photo gallery utility for our local Windsurfing and Kiteboarding scene here in MN.
  • GoGoBooze An online marketing company aimed at providing great alcohol deals — both liquor stores and nightlife included — to college students. In addition to being an active member in the business realm of the company, I designed and engineered the entire web presence.
  • Meebo Me Facebook Application An application wrapping the functionality of http://meebome.com allowing anyone to add a chat widget to their profile so their visitors can instant message them.
  • Rate Me Facebook Application My first Facebook application, conceived and commissioned by Kamal Ravikant.
  • FlixHost A simple, clean website indexing online streaming movies, concerts, and TV shows. Conceived, commissioned, and managed by Vlad Heger.
  • FBJS Ajax Typahead Widget A small contribution of mine to the Facebook developer Wiki.
  • USmart A radical new way to allow students to create their class schedules. Coming soon!
  • UMN Waterski/Wakeboard Ride Website A system that allowed coordination between the members and organizers for our own University of Minnesota Waterski & Wakeboard Team practices — allowing organizers to declare practices and members to find and claim rides.
  • tDeploy An automated application deployment system. Much, much more on this soon to come.
  • Plexx When I was a Freshman in High School, my friends and I wanted to play Starcraft without buying 4 copies. Enter Plexx. It’s a simple VPN-like software that runs on linux — though not encrypted (VN software?) — it interconnected all of our home ethernets allowing Starcraft (or anything, really) to be played in “LAN” mode across the internet. Even supported IP translation in the cases where there were collisions. The source code will never be read by anyone, ever. It’s that bad.

Research Related

  • Attacking the Kad Network Paper in submission.
  • DVN Distributed virtual network. A simulator I designed/wrote/am writing for a research group here at the University of Minnesota headed by Yongdae Kim. Written in C, it’s a fast distributed system used to analyze massive (million+ node) peer-to-peer networks.

Other Work

  • Sever A movie produced by a good friend of mine, Nate Skoog, which I did a handful of special effects for.
  • Collusion Designs Apparel One afternoon, I randomly decided to start a clothing line. haha
  • Logo Design Gallery coming soon?
