Well, I think it’s time for another post. This is more of a ‘news’ post than anything else. I’ve created a new website for my nonprofit organization The Wishspring Foundation.

The short of it is that I feel that donations to kids for education is one of the greatest ways to “give back”. I spent an entire summer being a surf-bum in the Dominican Republic. While living life on a beach without a care in the world is spectacular, it’s also pretty selfish. During my time there I got to know the people who run a small school, and they’re having troubles with money.

So, I started a nonprofit to help them out. Things are moving along slowly but surely, and hoepfully their school will soon be complete and we’ll be able to purchase some sort of transportation for the kids. You can read the whole story on how this all came about here.

Really, that’s all I’ve got. Check out the site, maybe come down to the DR for the Summer Fest this July and learn how to kiteboard. Just consider giving a small donation!
