Kiteboarding. One way to look at it is a silly sport where people strap themselves to a big piece of flappy stuff and let themselves get pulled around. Another way to look at it is a slightly less silly but still somewhat silly sport where people fly kites and ride about. The most accurate way to look at is is not a sport at all, but more of a disease/lifestyle (the two are often quite closely intertwined!).

I love it. I spent my 2007 summer in the Dominican Republic doing nothing but (well, and learning Spanish). I moved there without agenda just so I could kiteboard every day. It was one of the best summers of my life, no doubt. For the first half or so of the trip, I even wrote about it.
